In her role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Royal Flying Doctors Service Laurinne Campbell enjoys all aspects of working alongside the GPs to support clients experiencing mental health concerns. Laurinne’s experience in general mental health nursing has spanned 15 years, providing specialist mental health intervention and support to people in the community but also nursing within the inpatient setting. Laurinne is committed to supporting clients experiencing mental illness with an opportunity to be the best they can be through client centred care including tailoring therapeutic interventions to suit the client progressing through their recovery journey.
Laurinne completed her Nursing degree at Southern Cross University, and is currently completing post-graduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work through Charles Sturt University and Advanced Diploma in Adolescent Mental Health through the Institute of Psychiatry.
She is a dedicated Mum of three lively teenagers, is a licenced beekeeper, enjoys growing vegetables in her garden to share with family and friends and spends time restoring her LH Holden Torana.
