DR ALEX KHLENTZOS
MBBS; BSc (Hons); FRACGP, DCH, FPAA National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Doctors
After starting out in medical research and finding he most enjoyed working with people, Alex studied medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2011. His initial hospital years were spent working at Dubbo Base Hospital with a rotation to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He spent much of his early years in the Emergency Department.
In 2016, Alex completed his GP training and was granted fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has also completed the Diploma of Child Health (Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and the University of Sydney) and the FPAA National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Doctors (Family Planning NSW).
Alex enjoys the general nature of general practice and each of its many facets. He is particularly interested in paediatrics, men’s health and preventative care. Above all, he enjoys caring for his patients and is excited to be part of the team at Dubbo Family Doctors in striving to provide high quality care to the local community. Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, being part of his church family, watching sport and living in the country.
